For Valentines Day we made our own Chocolate Covered Strawberries!! They are SO easy to make and a lot cheaper than purchasing them from the candy stores!! The Bug Man went to Whole Foods (my new LOVE) and got a carton of these HUGE strawberries! Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen strawberries SO big....and GOOD!! OMG if you haven't tried the fruit at Whole Foods, then you haven't tried fresh fruit!!........I'm just thankful they're not closer to us, because they're not cheap, but SO worth the money AND the drive!! I had my first visit to Whole Foods in early Feb and sent the Bug Man two more times that month!Well, EatSmart Products had recently contacted me about reviewing their Precision Pro Scale. It was sitting on my kitchen counter the day I made the strawberries......so I plopped 3 of those beauties on the scale just so I could see how big they really were!
Would you look at that.......7.o5 oz!! Those three strawberries were nearly 1/2 pound!!
I have never owned a kitchen scale. But I have recently discovered how important a kitchen scale can be when it comes to baking. A scale allows precision and control so you will have reliable results when baking!

Don't believe weighing your ingredients can make a difference? Check it out this post by Brown Eyed Baker, where she tested Volume vs. Weighing in baking.
The EatSmart Precision Pro Scale is simple and small. It has a nice large display and numbers that are easy to read. Not only does it have nice little functions like a tare feature which allows you to remove the weight of the container or plate your ingredients are in, but it can measure ounces, pounds, grams and even kgs!

One of the ways I would use this scale is to weigh the beef that my husband gets from the butcher sometimes. It comes wrapped in paper and is not labeled with the weight so it makes it harder to figure out cooking time for roast, and some of the other cuts.
I voted!
I would love, love, love one of these! I'd definitely use it for baking bread and dividing dough into equal parts...I'm not good at eyeballing that! ;)
I tweeted!!! :)

I'd use the scale to make accurate goodies! My fave cookbook marks measurements in the traditional cup/tbspn, but it also marks it in oz. I'd love to see the difference myself!
I'd use the scale when baking. Thanks for the chance to win.
I'd love to have this in my kitchen, I would weigh my food for health reasons and to follow recipes too. I love the color and shape of it would look great on any kitchen counter.

Such a fab giveaway!
Oh!
And WHOLE FOODS!!!!
First discovered my love for Whole Foods in London...of all places!!!!!
Oh how I loved popping into Whole Foods and getting fabulous snacks and taking them back to our room in London!
I was fascinated by the all departments...but one thing that I could not get over was their unique assortment of EGGS!
Like they had the tiniest of little itty bitty eggs...and big ole HUGE gigantic OSTRICH eggs...talking about delicacies!!!
Those suckers were expensive!!!
I mean like when I was in London...
I would rather piddle around in Whole Foods than in a British Museum...and Greg knows this but he loves me anyways! ;o) xxooxx
You know this...I would FOLLOW TIDYMOM to the MOON and back!!! xo
Oh!

I have a big, clunky, inaccurate, old, analog kitchen scale. I would love this cute and tiny one! I would use it to divide the meat I buy at Costco into 1 lb. bags for freezer storage.
I was a LUCKY winner in your heart-shaped pan giveaway so I will refrain from entering this contest... But I am ordering this scale today!
Thank you for the review!
I follow you! I love this scale, they're so useful in the kitchen. I have one, but it's not digital. A digital one would be awesome.
I can't say that I'D use it, but my husband would love it. He's the baker in our house and he always gets frustrated when he has to use our postal scale to measure his ingredients. Red would match our kitchen and make me happy! Thanks!

I lost my scale a few months back in a freak counter diving accident. It just jumped to it's death without any help from young hands - sure. I would love to win a new one. I used mine for everything, but the best part of it was for weighing foods to make sure each girl got the same amount. Heaven forbid one of them got a few grams more than the other. LOL :)
